Checked and swapped the toner . . .
not sure, seems to work fine but is this an indication for a modification ?

681's are usually some sort of damage to the RFID board, customer trying to insert it with a sledgehammer and the like. Strip it out and check for bent pins.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

I'd go for the springs in the toner assy as mentioned by Zeldaman. Had a couple of these myself- front door can come open during printing as the spring is too weak to hold the cartridge in so the cartridge pushes the door open. Didn't believe it till I saw it happen. Word of warning- put some paper under the bottle units when you replace the springs otherwise you'll be blessing the day you went into copiers if you drop one of them whilst putiing them in!
