Customer is using Mac 10.10.5...will a MP 2852 work with that OS?

My customer currently has a MP 2550. Everything was working fine until he upgraded his Mac computers to OS10.
At that point he lost scanning to all those units. His Windows 7 machines could still scan just fine.

Today he says he wants to be able to use the scan feature with all his desktops, including the Mac's.

I am a reseller and have access to MP 2852's and 3352's, will these work with Mac OS10.10.5?
Will they require a firmware upgrade? Can the MP 2550 firmware be upgraded to work with OS10?

    Thanks again!

My info is probably a little inaccurate and someone here will have the details on it but a few years ago Apple removed something from their OS that was required for scanning directly to the Mac, they'll need to scan to email or use a 3rd party add-on.

There is at least one other thread that I have seen on this that gave the software needed. I think it is in Connectivity. Go find it.
