    remove sc501 on savin 2575

Is it possible to clear an SC501 error on a Savin 2575 without power-cycling the copier? I can't find a corresponding reset option in the SP menu.

NO! cycle power to clear this code no sp mode needs to be set. SC 501 is a tray 1 code, most of the time customer load paper improperly or the front and rear guides are bent so the lift table does not travel properly.

yes, that's whats happened here. the customer loaded the left tray improperly and it prevented the lifter from lifting. it happens all the time, unfortunately. the customer was upset that the copier had to be power cycled because it lost a print job that the copier was working on.
