    Ricoh FW770

    What would cause streaking from lead edge to trail edge yet not all the way across the page; the light black streaks become lighter when passing through a dark print;
    Thanks!!!

      Is there any chance you could share a picture or two of the streaks?

          From the view I am getting it sure looks like a cleaning blade problem. If you can find the bracket for the cleaning blade assembly (release the levers to gain access like for jam removal) usually on the right side you can try to pick up the spring tension and then release it to see if this changes the appearance. You can also just look at the drum and you will probably find residue left on the drum if it is a cleaning problem.

            I'd take this advice first.
            But I'd check the charge corona as well. If this machine uses the "write to black" process anyway.
