Ricoh CP C411 line within color portion of prints

    Hello Folks,
I'mworking on SP C411 printer, getting, which seems to be of a magenta line in the area where theres heavy color laydown of toner. Fom experience from color laser copiers, we would be able to adjust a transfer voltafe, for this type of line in colored areas, which always seems to happen in the winter months. Curious if there is an adjustment through a service to eliminate this line, which is a very thin , maybe 1/16 of an inch , that appears. Any help greatly appreciated.

    Thanks !

Lines are usually dirty drums or charge rollers. No settings in SP mode will resolve it. Just change the affected photoconductor unit.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

You might see if this will help prevent the charge roller from getting dirty after you clean it. These adjustments slightly lower toner concentration in the developer and offset that by slightly increasing transfer. Less toner applied to the drum plus more of the toner being transferred results in less toner left on the drum to cause blade problems.
