    One scan doc per page??

Hi all, I have a customer who wants to put 20 or so invoices in the doc feeder and scan them but rather than getting one multi page document they want a single scan document per single page scanned, ie. 20 pages in the feeder equals 20 single page scan docs.

Can they do this on their Ricoh MPC?

Close (or maybe it's correct on newest models), but the machines I'm familiar with it's:
      scanner
      Send file type/name
Single page PDF or Single page Tiff
      OK

well then, maybe it's the slightly newer machines that have changed it, because the MP C300 right in front of me, is done the way I described .
Whatever the case....I think Leebs can figure it out from here

That is the only way I have seen. Usually use Original Feed Type for batch feeding of mixed single and double sided original to have no blank pages.

that was always the way I would set up in user tools for the default scan setting too.

my customer wanted a way to divide a group of medical files into individual files without changing the default scan settings each time and "divide" worked for that.

I thought that was what the OP was asking for, if he wants it to "default" to always being single pages then by all means set it up in user tools.

If they want it to default to that, after setting it in file type/name, press OK then press program - program default - program - yes. What ever the current setting were are now current.

You might also want to change Scanner SP 1012-001 so that the destination is not dropped after each send.
