Savin C230sr/Ricoh MP C300sr voids

customer is getting random voids in color print. they can print the document with the voids and then print again and its fine. they had this issue before but i attributed it to the graphic they borrowed from internet.

but this document and others are doing this occasionally.

anyone seen this and have any thoughts? i am going down tomorrow to see it in person.

Transfer belt? If they only appear occasionally, it could all be down to chance as to the home position of the belt and where the damage is. Do an A3 solid colour run and see how often it appears. Saw a Ricoh recently do this with a completely torn belt. No idea how it was still running.

If color copies look OK, it might not hurt to see if they have the latest required print driver for that machine, and that it is set up correctly.

How close are the development units to recommended PM count. Might be intermittent developer voids on the development roller.

not sure what is happening. customer called in this morning to cancel service request. other print jobs coming out fine. they think its the graphic doing it. but it can print fine once and then later do the voids. but their other print jobs are doing fine.

i'll guess i'll go when it comes back.
