MPC5000 shows toners full all the time

Hi All
i have an mpc5000 that shows the toner levels are full constantly
i have tried the toners in a different machine they show the correct level (half full)
i have tried different toners in this machine it still shows full regardless of the amount of toner
im thinking possibly the RFID pba ?
anyone had this before or got any ideas

Is sp3045-001 set to not detect? Should be set to '0'

This may have been changed if one of the toner pumps failed.

Pretty sure that it displays them all as full if set to '1'

Hi

sounds to me that someone turned off toner end detection in the SP modes. This will cause the condition you are experiencing.

Just wondering when you checked that 3045 was on, did you try setting it to off - reboot- then turn it back on and reboot. Also can check 3101 and see consumptions see the bottles are reading full or not when. Sounds simple i know but I have had to turn the detection off and on again to get the display to read.

Thanks for the replies i had checked 3045 and ran the reset routine
i replaced the RFID board but it still showed full
so i ran the reset again
turning 3045 off running 4 a3 full colour and turning it 3045 back on it reset and is now registering the correct levels

Awesome, i know that model had issues and the procedure was to turn detection off and on, i forgot the step of running a couple pages in between enable/disable.
