Ricoh MPC 2500 Problem with Java Platform

    Hello

I've been trying to install Digidoc Flow software on my MPC 2500 but without success and now i think I made things a bit worst. Here is what I did

I Installed the sd card provided which contained Java platform and the digidoc flow and the software as stated in the installation guide.

waited for the java platform to start but it stayed on starting up and acording to customer helpdesk the digidoc wont start if the java doesn't start.

After almost 1 hr of waiting it was clear the java will never start

I decided to uninstall everything start everything again in case I missed something and that where things got worst, I uninstalled the digidoc flow , then the java. Restarted the machine then tried to install the java but kept receiving an error E0102 when I try to install it on the SD card and error E0301 when I try to install it on the HDD.

Anyone know what else I can try? I had backup the sd card before installing it and I erased it then copied the original files back but with no success , i kept getting the same errors.

    Thanks

I haven't done any of those recently, but it sounds like the firmware wasn't new enough to work properly. I've never tried to uninstall that option, but I know for a fact you can't uninstall the data overwrite kit. You can only use the SD card once on those. You may have to flash the machine and then contact your rep about getting a replacement at no cost.

Samir: No, not again. I... why does it say paper jam when there is no paper jam? I swear to God, one of these days, I just kick this piece of shit out the window.

I don't have a lot of experience with the extended features. However, I've been working with Ricoh on a new application that is in beta testing.

The tech I've been working with has reminded me most adamantly that I can NOT just remove the SD card that contains the application. It must always be uninstalled and reinstalled if you need to turn the machine on with the application SD card out of the machine. Doing anything else will make the card unusable. I don't know if this would apply to the Digiflo application, though.

Try Sp 5401-200 and clear or initialize to 0
