Print in Different trays in the same job

    Hi.

I recently replace a Canon equipment for Ricoh and the with Canon I could send a job and choose the last page to be printed in a different tray.
I do not have this option in the Ricoh driver.
Can someone give me a hint?
    Thank you so much

      Hi.

It is a MP 3554 and I am using PCL 6.
I think that the application is not so important because it generate a PDF file. I just need the last page being sent to a different tray.

This is what I have in Canon: Selecting a Paper Source
Take a look on item 4. Specify the following options as needed.
      Setting Setting Value Description
[Paper Selection] [Same Paper for All Pages] Feeds all the pages from the same paper source.
[Different for First, Others, and Last] Paper can be selected for each page, such as for printing the front cover on a different type of paper.

I'm not sure you can do that with the PCL 6 driver, but I know you can, if you install the PCL5e driver instead

Printing Preferences - Detailed Settings Tab - Paper. Your options are Main body of the document, front cover, back cover and chapter page. Chapter page lets you specify Print Mode (blank, 1 sided, 2 sided) and paper source (tray) for each page in the document. This is from the PCL6 driver for a MP C3001 that I downloaded a week age. Most current PCL 6 drivers should be the same. Also some word processing and publishing software allow you to configure within the file. I believe Fiery also allows this.
