    MPC2800 SC442

    Hi,

got this MPC given an Sc442 !
customer send a printjob and no print, instead a Sc442.
checked the ITb unit, seems to be allright.
Is this a ITB contact motor? Never had this SC
when I check with 5804, no result on checking the ITB contact motor.

anyone seen this before . .?

    thanks in advance

dont remember seeing this one before, but this is what the manual has:

No. Type Details (Symptom, Possible Cause, Troubleshooting Procedures)
Image transfer belt contact motor error
The image transfer belt contact sensor does not detect the movementof actuator at the sensor while the polygon motor rotates.ƒ
Dirty image transfer belt contact sensor
ƒ Defective image transfer belt contact motor
ƒ Disconnected connector of image transfer belt contact sensor ormotor
    ƒ Disconnected cable442
    1. Replace the image transfer belt contact sensor.
    2. Replace the image transfer belt contact motor.

        Indeed. It has gone boom.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.
