I have a ricoh 6001 the radf say jam j1 no jam some times it reset sometimes you cant i know these feeders can be a night mare any one seen this

Have you checked all the DF sensors? There is a sensor wherein you have to remove 2 small screws, the front DF Cover, and a shoulder screw to access.

J1 is a jam found at power on (or when a door is closed). When the jam comes up, use ADF input check SP 6007 to see which jam sensor shows as being covered. Also check the cover open and feeder up sensors. If the machine does not see the cover being open and closed, it will not clear the jam.Comment
