    Mpc2503 pulling Dev

    My favourite range😔

Called out for A red line - magenta pcu knackered with a line through it but I noticed black Dev sitting on top of the magenta unit? Definitely Dev as it felt gritty compared to toner.

Whats the pm count on it. I have noticed the 02s and 03s tend to need dev and units replaced within or shortly after yield. The older 01s i could run the dev units and dev for almost the life of the machine without any trouble, i had some 40ppms with over a mil on the dev and still going, yet on the 02s 03s i have beend doing more dev pms due to this reason you are talking about.

Its pretty easy to tell if its developer with your magnetic screwdriver if your ever unsure.

I have also found that the slower models within a product can go a lot longer on developer than the faster models. As an example, with the Pro 907EX/1107EX/1357EX I can get nearly 1.5M on the 907, close to 1M on the 1107, but if you try to go to much past 500K on the 1357 you are asking for quality issues.
