    SR 3020 Saddle Stitch Off

On an MP C5000 with an SR-3020 finsiher when you make a booklet copy from machine itself...the saddle stitch staples (2 at center) are perfectly centered. However all the sudden when you print a booklet from a computer to the machine it is off the left about a half inch. I know how to adjust the positioning of the saddle stitch in sp mode...but this made no change at all. It would still treat half an inch as the center and move it 3 mm to the left or right of that spot. Since it was perfect from the copier naturally i checked to make sure that when it was sent from the computer, all the settings matched up. Correct tray, correct paper size, even created a new document in word and tried that, installed a new driver and finisher...still nothing. Any help?
