[Error Code] Ricoh MP5002 SC 819-00

Right this is kicking my butt big time,SC819-00,manual says controller,so far changed controller,IPU,IOB,BCU,still the same.
Firmware up to date tried to reload,even throughs error with HDD disconnected,next thought is order new DIMMS and connecting board from controller to IPU-any other thoughts??

Had the same problem this week. Changed the controller and same SC819...at the end I formated the HDD (all) and everything started to work again....It was a MP4001 so almost the same machine (had also the error when the hdd was disconnected)

Just had that same issue last month. We updated firmware.........then went out with a controller but ended up being the Hard drive that fixed it. You can try to format the HDD in service mode or if that is not possible or does not fix the issue ------Replace the hard drive. Also, Remember, you will get a new error code after replacing the HDD. Just format the new drive in service mode and that new error code will go away.

Cheers,removed Java card and I could update the firmware,got another error code SC860 -HDD,ordered new drive and java card-culdn't get the jave card to update,will update with results later-thanks

Fitted new drive & formatted-no difference still had SC 819-fitted new java SD card-sorted!!!

I had that isue before ...1.switch the machine off. 2.delete from comuter all pending works is ii progress.3switch the machine on.

To solve the problem permanent you have to make filmware upgrate.usualy that code appears when you have to print pages for internet

that they have pop-up pages.
