Urgently Needing a hard drive for a Ricoh MP 5002, good used would be fine, any help would be appreciated, part number Ricoh D124-5298

There is ablsolutely nothing special about the HDD's for Ricoh Copiers. grab one off the shelf. They're just standard SATA.
Just make sure it's at least the same capacity of the machine it's going in (Larger is ok)

Thats great, priced them around 500 from Ricoh, so standard SATA, laptop size or standard pc size

Just want to be clear, this is not for a add on HD, I need to replace the standard HD the machine comes with, looks like it crashed, SC860, try to format it several times, no luck

I understand, and "yes", look through the forum, there's been tons of discussion on replacing HDD's in all models.
I'm pretty sure it's 2.5" (laptop), but I'm positive it's one or the other .

(320Gb or larger. I'm not sure what the upper limit is so I'd keep it to 500Gb or less)

Just look at the label on the exiting HDD. It will have the manufacturer and model. Google that. Should find one new for less than $100.00.

Lately we've been replacing them with a 500gb SSD available for around 50$ on Amazon😀

We also get ours off Amazon. The last 6 we bought were under 30 bucks each and they work great.
