    Ricoh SP 8100 DN Error message

    I have a machine in my workshop and from what i understand the field techy had usb problems with the BICU and replaced the board with a new one.. after installing the new board he got the following message on boot...

    Reboot after E31 card insert. Card no. 0/0

    I cant find anything of this sort on the manuals or on any previous model...

      Are you sure it was the BICU he replaced?

      If the problem was initially a USB issue I would imagine he would of replaced the controller PCB.
      If it was the controller he replaced be sure that any jumper settings match the old PCB and that he has transfered the NVRAM and any SD cards over to the new board.

      'Exx' errors are normally controller / firmware related.
