[Misc] aficio mp5001, need to unset finisher to use copier

I have a ricoh aficio mp5001 that was delivered to me without the finisher that was previously attached to it, and to test the copier without a finisher it appears i need to "unset" the finisher. I looked at everything in the service mode and i did not find anything that suggests setting or unsetting (installing or uninstalling) and options. can anyone help me to get rid of the finisher error due to the finisher no longer being available so i can test this copier? thanks ahead of time for any help. there is not sc code that i can remember, it just says in the lower left hand corner of the display that there is a finisher error, and of course the print button will not turn green to enable making a copy.

the finisher error code is sc792 and usually does not stop the copier from operating. To get the message to go away, the bridge unit will have to be removed.

well thank you fellas...i actually started to do that but i was in a hurry and i removed the thumb screw on the exit rear side of that unit and the front screw but there was another screw somewhere in the back near the exit side of the machine which i didnt have time to look for, so i replaced the removed screws and left. i just dont do as many ricohs anymore but more konica minolta. I will go back and remove that unit, which was as i said my next thought after going through the service mode and seeing no place that indicated options, like there is for konica minolta.

        I really appreciate the information.
