    [Misc] Replaced toner PCB sensor

After reassemble the system states to close the fuser door. What where and how ? All connectors seem to be in their place on the main board. The fuser was not touched and was working before the replacement of the toner sensor PCB.

    Duh, sorry MCP 305 spc

Did it ever cross your mind that including a model # might be helpful?

Happened 1nce to me too , It was the side door ( fusing door ), didnt closed properly because the fusing lock system wasnt properly locked ( the 2 small levers , lock fusing into place ).
      Good luck.

Seeing as you've had to take the controller and BICU off to fit the DRB board, I'd start there. Check for missing or loose connectors and bent pins.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

        Hit it.

I have checked the fuser assembly several times, and that was not removed or fulled with. The Fuser wiring goes up the front and then towards the back to the controller but I have no clue which harness or connector it goes to on the controller PCB. I have checked a couple of times to see if there was any loose wires not connected and I did not see any. That does not mean I over looked one.

And cables that should be connected but are hiding behind the board.

They are the worst ones. Sneaky buggers.

There is a double row plug at the bottom right of the high voltage board that pops off when you first remove the HV board. So you won't know to put it back when you re-assemble.

                Been there done that!

                Worth a look.

The right cover switch connects to CN559 on the BICU.

Checked connector CN559, no bent pins. HVPS was not removed to install the toner pcb . The other large components that were removed: the ARDF, fax pcb, BICU, network assembly and the BICU housing.

                      Open connectors on the BICU are : CN516, CN517, CN570 - UPPER LEFT CORNER; CN134, CN118, CN110- BOTTOM; CN527-LEFT; CN133-RIBBON CABLE CENTER; AND CN111 - UPPER RIGHT

Now go to the point to point and see what if anything should be connected to those connectors.

Found the problem --- I'm embarrassed --- put connectors in wrong socket. poor lighting.(excuse) lucky that it did not short out the board.

After 3 3rd party toners that failed we assume that it's the wrong chip in the cartrage
