Ricoh MP C2050 SC870-60 SC991 SC997 SC816 SC441 SC492

HELP!!! Trying to fix this issue without wasting my customers time or money. They have a Ricoh MP C2050 with SC870-60 SC991 SC997 SC816 SC441 SC492 error codes. Im not sure if this would be controller, firmware or HDD.....

The customer just switched from another service company so I'm not sure if the transfer lock errors (SC441 SC492) have anything to so with this issue or if it has been resolved considering they unplugged the machine for a while due to errors. It's a real estate office so people are generally in and out and the receptionist is none the wiser as she started a week ago so I really don't have much direction.

It has 412744 BW clicks and 53307 CMY clicks.

System firmware is 1.17 Engine firmware is 1.51:03 printer firmware is 1.13

Thanks guys!

i would disconnect the hdd first and reboot, see if some of those codes go away, no cost for that to troubleshoot

This doesn't seem reasonable to me.

I would also have a look at the firmware levels on this machine.

+1 on disconnecting the hdd comment.

One of the solutions in Gooses Guide for both SC 441 and SC 492 is to replace the ITB. SC870 is almost always the HDD, try reformatting. SC 816, 991 and 997 try reloading all firmware, otherwise replace the controller.

Other option is replace the machine with new.
