MPC 2800 etc Windows 10 SMB

    Hi guys

Apologies for this but the search function isn't bringing up any matches on tapatalk.

Is it possible to scan to smb on a windows 10 PC from the MPC 2800 range?

If so, what needs done ?

    Thanks in advance.

download and install NCS custom firmware available via TRSC The following SMB-based GW functions will work with Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 with this firmware. - Scan to SMB - Fax Folder Transmission (SMB only) - Fax Forwarding (SMB only)

The firmware that resolves issues for Windows 8/Server 2012 should give you the ability to scan to folder.

I noticed that your profile shows you are in the United Kingdom. If you are with a branch or authorized dealer, you will need to contact your support hot line and request that they send you the Custom Network Support firmware to allow SMB scan to Windows 8, Windows 10 and Server 2012. Be sure to tell them that it is critical to keep from losing a customer to a competitor. If y ou are an end user, contact an authorized service center and have them update you.

Thanks guys, will try this tomorrow. We are a Ricoh dealer, not an end user.
