    Ricoh Pro 8100S ITB Heater

    Gents

Does anyone know if the ITB heater is on as a default on UK models? Or how to turn it on if it's not?

The manual is not clear & even Tier 2 support couldn't give us a definitive answer.

    Many thanks

Some machines the heaters are an option and are not even installed. You need to physically check both for its presence and if it is connected at the power supply.

It is fitted & plugged in. The machine is in the middle of a huge open factory & has been coding up in the morning on the transfer section. We've changed the rollers, opposing roller & both power packs. We've applied the voltage changes as per the bulletin, 5.8 to 7.
We've changed the weekly timer settings so the machine turns on a few hours before the guy comes in to work to let it warm up & hopefully sort the issue.
We just need to confirm that the heater doesn't need turned on, because if it's off it would be really useful to this customer to be on.

      Thanks

You might have a defective ITB heater or ITB thermostat or a loose connection inside the ITB assembly. Check the ITB heater for continuity in the ITB unit.
