My guess is that the fusing unit is well past PM cycle.
Thanks for your reply slimslob, but i don't see any other color on that line besides black. Also toner is scattered around it and they are not pieces that can be removed by scratching them. Also the line does not appear in every copy.Could be 30 40 copies before reappears.Drum ,developer and blade are new on the k pcu.Oil supply roller is around 30k
Agree with Slim - Oil roller particularly.
In future why not consider adding a few details about what YOU'VE done, checked, replaced or otherwise
Thanks for your reply sandmanmac.I woul not post here if it was'nt something special.Sorry i did not mention what i have done so far but they are so many....I have 28 years of experience in the field on ricoh copiers and be sure the first thing i have checked are the consumable parts.I'm sure if you have seen that line you would knew the answer immidiately.

Sorry, we can't see that machine and what it is doing as well as you can.
So more info is better.
For what it is worth, my first guess is that the black drum unit is bad as the black drum is always in contact with the ITB all the time. However, as you've been doing this only three years less than I have, you probably already know that, and this helps nobody.
