Hi, this mpc4000 having color printing issue, more than half page color blur as sample print. my tech has check ITB belt, Paper transfer unit (recently changed due to broken cover) & all pcu look good. do i need to try HV broad or BICU. Thanks.

Based on the Printer SP 1103-002 printout, I would say that you have uneven pressure from front to back on the PTR. Check the springs. -

Check the guides for the ptr assy when the door closes and the ptr fits against the itb unit one or both of them may be broken causing uneven pressure and bad and uneven color.Comment

The large springs in the PTR assembly that push the roller against the ITB can also cause this fault. A good indicator is the offending machine will crease like buggery on A3.It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Rear PTR assembly hinge pin that large spring sits on is probably broken, modified assembly kit with metal pin is now used.Comment

Thanks all, The problem is ok now. the problem from the modified assembly kit with metal Drum Stay Front (Metal Drum Stay is not Ori part, Made by local supplier Price in package about 50% lower than the ori part).
The PTR is not even, image back to normal after modify the drum stay. thanks.Comment
