    MP C2800

    Hi All

    Have a Ricoh MP C2800 which cant find a IP Address on DHCP, i have change the controller board, still the same, put a wee MP 201spf on and its working ok. anybody ever came across this.

    Print off a config page. If IEEE802.11x Authentication for Ethernet is active, disable it in interface settings. It's locking the NIC out. If you put it on a static IP crossovered to your laptop, does it ping?

      Have you tried resetting the NCS with SP5-801-11?

          What operating system are the computers the machine is hooked up to using?

            If you disconnect the C2800 and connect your laptop does the laptop get an IP form the DHCP. If not, either they are not using DHCP, their DHCP is set to only accept requests from registered MAC addresses or there is a bad port on the switch.
