Ricoh MP 3010 shows SC 672 error code

    Ricoh MP 3010 shows SC 672 error code

    Ricoh MP 3010 machine shows sc 672 error. I have replaced the controller board with another from Ricoh aficio 3030 machine and now it shows error sc 995. Have I need to replace the controller board with the same model MP 3010 so that it does not shows sc 995 error code or is there any setting I have to change to clear this sc 995 code. Thanks for any assistance regarding this issue.

      Hi there...
      Try to disconnect the HDD data cable and reboot the machine with the original controller board installed then see what happens...

          Hi,

          I have already done that and have also changed the PC2100 256MB ram card it also give sc 672. The controller board is confirmed defective but I don't have mp 3010 controller board only got aficio 3030 controller board but not sure if that model is compatible with mp 3010 model.

              You need replace a pair of SBCU board and controller board.

                      I have replaced the SBCU board to 3030 type and also use ricoh aficio 3030 controller board and it also shows SC 995 error code. I also try to adjusting dip switch SW 103 both up or down on SBCU board it still the same shows SC 995.
                      I think the problem is with the firmware issues not compatible. Beside the controller board and SBCU board does the control panel board has firmware on it.

                          try to readjust dip switch SW 103, that will solve SC 995.

                              I have adjust SW 103 dip switch one up and the other down now no more SC995 error code.
