The customer wants to be able to name the scanned file before sending the file out to the computer. I know how its done on the newer models the options on the right under file type or something like that..anyway I went through he machine I could not find a way to set the file name, I can set the stored file name but its not the same..I was thinking it could possibly be a firmware upgrade or the machine just cant do it.

There is a way to do it, but you would have to load Auto Document link to check the in box for the destination on scan router.
I you set scan router to save directly to folder, it will not be able to name the file. However, if you set scan router to save the document in the in box and have auto document link transfer the file, then the name will be attached to the file.
