[Error Code] Mpc5503 sc552/555

Dear All,

kindly assist before i proceed on incuring expenses,i have a new above printer with the sc 555/552,replaced the fuser unit but it still is persistent.

please can i have your learned minds help me!

SC552 is the thermopile. SC555 could be the thermopile. Replace the thermopile. Read your service manual for details.

I have replaced the thermopile,ac control board,iob board,power supply,fusing unit and the sc code keeps on coming back, i decided to replace the bicu and eeprom and i'm stuck at sc995-04, i cannot input sp5811-02, kindly assist good people

Put the original BICU back in, replace the thermostat, install fusing SC reset fuse and reset fusing SC.

thanks for the response,

i have even replaced the fuser unit,ac control board,power supply board,iob board,thermopile, replaced bicu and eeprom am stuck with sc995-04 i cannot input serial no. at 5811-02,please assist

Okay, Slimslob did assist you. He told you to put the ORIGINAL bicu board back in to alleviate your SC995.

i was able to resolve sc995-04 but stuck with sc555/542
