    Case Study : i need your guys opinion.

    event : emergency at clients office

    printer : Ricoh SP C232DN/etc...(dn models only)

    case : "please change BLACK CATRidge."

    Part Brings : MAgenta catridge

    can we take magenta chip n use it on black catridge. as far we know, there still toner left inside right..

    if anyone ever came through this event, can u share it.. thanks..

      I'd bet you money that chip knows what kind of toner it's supposed to be. So yeah you could swap them but I don't see it working or any good coming of it. Just put the proper part in.

          I haven't worked on one of these yet, but from the Service Manual, I am wondering if you can use the clear counter in the SP1 tab of the Smart Organizing Monitor or Init Engine EEPROM on tab SP2?
