    SPC831DN SC544

Picked up this used POS. Has an error of SC544. The fuser was torn up. I replaced the sleeve assembly LFR etc. Reset the fusing SC and the manual fuser replacement. Still has the sc544, no warm up.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks

Replace the fusing unit and reset the counter of the fusing unit usingSP3-902-014.
Important: The fusing unit cannot be used because an abnormal hightemperature was detected. After this SC occurs, the counter resetof the fusing unit should be done manually using SP3-902-014because the counter reset is not done automatically.
After replacing fusing unit, to set SP5-810-2 is necessary to resetthis SC.

I don't know about this particular printer, but most Ricoh copiers that have fusing sleeves require a fuse be connected to the open connector on fusing unit in order for SP 5810 to clear the fusing error. The fusing is normally taped to the inside of the bottom of the box that the sleeve came in.
