    Ricoh C4000 finisher (SR790/B408) noise

    Bang noise from reverse rollers, (the small 2 roller riding on the stock paper when sorting) 2 banging per page .

    Noise only when sorting

    No noise if I lift the reverse arm/rollers.

    when operating the roller up and down manually through the cam there is no noise

    Any idea?

      The reserse rollers are worn and need replacing.
      It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.
