Savin c4540/Ricoh c4500 open door prob.

    Hi Folks,
m working on Savin C4540 color copier thats indicating the right door being open. I replaced front/right door interlock switck, made sure both
micro-switches were making contact. All other switches seem to be working fine. Could there be another switch, either photo-interrupter or micro, that Im not
seeing? aaive read something about a power supply could cause this, Im just not sure, I did check fuss(ohmed out) fuses that I could see
on power supplies/boards, unless theres a hidden pcb. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as copier is down, and I am just not finding the cause...
so thanks, open to any and all help ..!!

    Thanks,
    Jaime

Have you tried jeppoing the right switches ? (push a piece of folded paper or flat screwdriver in to see if turns off the door open warning?)

There's a set switch at the top of the side door near the junction gate gear. The harness that runs to that sensor frays after time and gives this issue.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

      Hit it.
