Anyone got Ricoh Aficio 1022 to scan on Windows 10?

Has anyone managed to find any drivers that work for the scanner on Ricoh Aficio 1022 with Windows 10?
Ricoh have stopped developing drivers for this machine and Microsoft seem to have stopped doing Twain drivers for Win10 (I think).
    Thanks

I don't think you'll find much of anything for this model in terms of Windows 10 support outside of print drivers. The 10xx series machines didn't really offer anything reliable in terms of scanning other than scan to email so it's probably for the best anyway.

There's ZERO chnace of getting it to scan to folder.
As for print drvers, pick a Ricoh PCL driver for any machine, any one will do

The 1022 is an old PCMCIA firmware update type machine and as such does not support scan to folder, SMB of FTP. What it did support was Scan Router V2 Lite, which does not run on anything newer than Windows XP. What it does support is TWAIN scanning. If you have trouble finding it on Ricoh download page, try Copiers, Printers, and Document Solutions from Lanier. You will need to select either Windows 7 or Windows 8 32 bit, there no 64 bit TWAIN drivers. You have to use a 323 bit software when using TWAIN.

Thanks for the suggestion about the Twain driver. There is a driver on the Lanier website for windows 8. I will create a 32 bit windows 10 system and give it a try. The only software used to address the scanner previously was SCAN2PDF V2 which uses the twain interface so this may be the solution.

you could always try and get hold of a File Format Converter option
i dont know if it is compatible with the 1022
this would allow you to web browse and download from the machines internal HDD
not sure if you can still get hold of them

The OS can be 64 bit, the application software needs to be 32 bit.

A very good point: the last thing you want to have someone do is waste perfectly good hardware on a 32-bit OS. I've had some luck with IrfanView and TWAIN but overall, even with systems going back to XP TWAIN was more or less a crapshoot unless you were directly connected to the device.

I use IrfanView also with all add ins. Works great for single page PDF. There are a number of utilities available on line for scan to PDF. I have a number of legal and medical offices with scan ability built into their software packages that work great with TWAIN.
