    Ricoh Pro C900s

We have a Pro C900s which is printing fine, but since few days customer has a problem copying Card stock.
Leading and Trailing edges have light image on single and duplex copying, as you can see attached images.
This happens when Customer using Thick 2 and Thick 3 OPTION for heavy media.
If there is no selection for heavy media it prints perfect on card stock but fixing is poor.

    Thanks for all.

Looks like it's probably caused by the PTR bias being too high for the trail edge. You need to change the bias settings in SP modes for whichever paper setting you're using.

SP2428-001 through SP2428-249 are where you'll find the settings. Try lowering them by 10% at a time for the specific media setting (there is a separate SP for each paper type/thickness/simplex or duplex/FC or BK) you want and test. Rinse and repeat until you get it working to the point the customer accepts the output.

This is for the trail edge. If you're looking at the problem on the lead edge, those settings are in SP2426.

edit: Just found it in the tech pubs. If you have access to them, look at Bulletin G178-99R. It goes a little more in depth than my explanation, but it gives the same advice.

      Re: Ricoh Pro C900s

      Thanks Dear,

Had tried reducing LEdge Cor DFU SP2426 by 10% to 20% and did not find any changes.
But after your advise lower the setting of Thick from default 250 to 170 as per plain paper.
Now the copy edges are much fine and result is around 80% and not 100%.
I had no access on Bulletin G178-99R but found only G1789501A, G1789502A, G1789503A.

      Thanks and regards.
