Ricoh MP C5503 Fax issue

Brand new MPC5503 having trouble reciving multiple page faxes.
We have a Canon Desktop as a loaner and it is not having trouble so its not the phone line.
We have replaced the Fax Board and the conecter board.
We turned off error correction and turned it back a 9600 baud rate.
Supposedly Ricoh knows about this issue but they have yet to come up with a solution.
Any recomendations?

Does this happen with print, store, send to folder/email, or all? It might be worth trying another reception method, otherwise you will have to keep an eye for out fax firmware. Have no encountered this myself, fax is rare, and multiple page fax is even rarer.

Do they have a digital phone system? There has to be an analogue to digital converter somewhere in the system for the fax to work and if there is an impedance miss match between them you get all sorts of problems.
Cisco systems are notorious for not working with Ricohs.
To fix it you have to do a lot of whinging and whining to Cisco (but that usually gets you nowhere, it's like complaining to your mother-in-law about your wife) and you have to dumb the fax right down until its just crawls along.
Search the Ricoh thread, some one has posted all the settings you have to change at sometime.
