We had some issues with light copies on our machines (from the 1060 to MP8000), turned out to be the toner, check the lot numbers of your TYPE 9002 toner it have to be 6j4 xxx.xxx. (better if the first xxx is over 129), there was a production problem in France with the toner......we changed developer on our machines every 20k copies or so (the only thing that helped a while), then after they solved the problem with the toner the machines runs without problems for 300k.
