Does anyone tried to configure this mpc2800/3300 with airprint using in iphone or smartphone before?

according to Ricoh, its not compatible with AirPrint

There is reportedly a work-around:

Install AirPrint for Windows on a workstation that's connected to the printer, then your iOs device will be able to find/print to it.

I haven't tried this myself but did point one customer to this and didn't hear back
