Checked transfer belt, it's not torn out. It is rotating in output check mode without any problem but shows sc442 during normal start up. According to service manual contact sensor might be faulty. I couldn't locate where that sensor is located. Any help is appreciated.

Swing the controller out on the back. Browney-grey coloured motor, D089 1199. It's gone boom. Replace said motor and done! It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.
Hit it.Comment

Re: sc442 on MPC4000
I had this exact problem today. It may not be the sensor but it could definitely be the motor does not have enough power to turn the rollers. I took my motor off the load and it worked fine. Put it back in, worked once and then it died on the next copy. Replace it as a unit and gt a new one....don't chance a harvested partComment
