SC672 - Ricoh MP C6000

Hello Guys, I have problem in our machine (Aficio MP C6000), it is SC 672 I got information from the internet that is start boot problem. Anyone can give step by step procedure how to resolve this error. Also SC 672 dont allow me to check the SP Mode. I tried the <C>107c normally i am using but in this error dont work. Your information will give me big help.

sc 672 controller start up error

1. After power on, the linebetween the controller and theoperation panel did not openfor normal operation.
2 After normal startup,communication with thecontroller stopped.

1. Controller stalled
2. Controller installed incorrectly
3. Controller board defective
4. Operation panel harnessdisconnected or defective

HDD failure. Try disconnecting the HDD and see if it comes up. If it does, replace the HDD.

Also if hdd work but after some time (like my case in the next day) sc 672 reoccur then is some bugs related to the Copy Connector option (SC991/998/819/672).

Check the conectors and sensors from the back of tandem tray 3 if not jumped from place
Upgrade the firmware at least version 1.08

...with older version of firmware you can get this error (from the Technical Bulletin)

If WIM's Encryption Key Auto Exchange Settings page is left open for 30
minutes, the web service will stop and an SC672 error will occur.

If a job containing a BW image is stored on the device HDD (e.g. via Locked
Print) after the device has just returned from Energy Saver mode, an SC672
error will occur. This only affects devices that have the MLB option
installed.


SC672 occurs when using the STR (Suspend To RAM) function.

"Thank you sir for the reply as you mentioned and from other recommendation it possible just a firmware. If you can provide me a link for the firmware it is very helpful. I found some link but i not sure if this is the real one. Again appreciated your help.
