hello, can anyone help with this error code machine shows doc feed jam twice then sc 187. i have tried changing sensors

Mp 9002 sensors for lift table.and adf closed sensors

SC 187 is CIS Black Level Error (Black Level scanned by CIS is abnormal). First thing I would do is give the Cover Plate on the CIS (Contact Image Sensor) and the White Roller a very good cleaning - make sure it isn't getting a false read because it's dirty. In case you wonder where this is, it's in the exit path on the underside of the Feeder (your side 2 for copying). Nothing to do with ADF Closed Sensor or Lift Table Sensor.

SC 187 has nothing to do with those sensors. SC 187 has to do with the CIS, Contact Image Sensor, that reads the back side of originals. Check the connectors mentioned in the service manual. If you do not have a service manual and/or training on this model, you should not be working on it.

I had a 6001 do the same thing. Change the EEPROM on the BCU board and it went away. Worth a shot as it's a cheap part. As others have said cleaning the CIS and checking all the connections going to it is also a good idea.
