    w3601 Test Page

Hi All. I have a W3601 that I'm trying to get an internal test print out of (IPU test pattern sp 4417).
All trays have paper. After I pick my test pattern and select "OK" I go to the copy screen and manually select which tray to print from, but I never get a green print light. Switching the original exit lever to the other position, or selecting upper or lower exit from the screen does nothing. No green print light doing the same thing with a drum test print. I obviously am missing something. I even double checked the procedure in the manual. Can someone shed a little light on my malfunction?

If you are selecting patterns 1 - 17, these are scanner test patterns and not print test patterns. Try using patterns 18 - 28 which are the IPU print test patterns. If what you are wanting to test is the engine, then use SP 2902 and select the pattern you want.

I was trying to get sp4417-27 out of it, no joy. No drum test patterns will give me a green ready light either. I run these patterns all the time on different models with no problems until now. Dammit.
