[Misc] Ricoh SP 5100 Fuser (Individual Parts)

Hi, Does anyone know where I can get fuser parts (Heat roll gears, Heater roller pressure roller etc...) I am guessing that they are just not available unless you buy the whole fuser unit.... Thanks for any help !!

You would have to determine which copier model was the same basic engine. Usually checking the part numbers of some of the major components boards and power supplies can help, if many of the parts start with the product code of a similar speed copier, then it is possibly the same.

Looks like on this printer that they only made 1 with this engine. Seems pretty weird... Thought it might be a remake of an HP Samsung etc but so far nothing is pointing that direction. (I didn't think Ricoh sold remakes from these but it was worth a shot)

Ok, I downloaded the current parts catalog. It appears to me that all the internal parts of the fusing are available.

I am looking for a fuser unit for an SP5100 recoh as well. I could not find the Samsung number listed in the reply but I did find the number JC96-03957A. Collins sells it for $145. Could anyone clarify this for me.
                Thanks, Will

                  Re: Manufacturer cross reference.
I long for a good cross reference parts catalogue.
I would just like to know which parts from each different machine I can swap to a totally different model or even different make of machine. I got that frustrated when warehouse parts supplies run low, I wanted to know which non-standard parts in the warehouse I can use to get the job going. I'd look at a machine with a totally different part number and know full well that xyz part can fit into other machines, but the part numbers are non compliant, which means trial an error.

It would be great if I could go to a cross reference database and look up a swap-me parts list.
I actually started writing a software app that would do new parts cross referencing, but it's still sitting on the back burner.

This would make for a great CTN post in the parts forum.

Won't you think of Ricoh's bottom line? I mean if you can just willy nilly swap parts that work from other machines then you won't buy new ones from them!

Just Google the part number. Most items are specific to a manufacturer, but not all Ricoh models are made by Ricoh. Also, things like stapler assemblies are purchased from companies who specialize in those type components. We needed a stapler for a 1357EX. Googled the Ricoh part number and found a page that actually listed the manufacturers number. Googled that number and found a rebuilt one for less than a third of what Ricoh wanted for a new one and less than what the rebuilder Ricoh recommends.
