mp2852 mp4000 tray feed rollers green versus orange

    Hello there!
Parts nr of the orange set starts with AF030085,... the Green one's start with AF030090.
There was a time that I only used the orange ones until I noticed problems with jams in those paper tray units: the paper wouldn't leave the tray...
The only thing to do then was to replace the whole feed unit (now I rebuild them with one way's and gears).
Now I wonder if this jamming was caused by putting the orange one's in instead of the greens.
    What is your experience?
Thank you kindly for your answer.
    Greetings,
    Mark

According to the parts catalogues for both machines you've mentioned the correct rollers are the '90's.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

Sorry, TonerM. I really need to be more attentive:
      mpc2800 (orange) versus mp4000 & mp2852 (greens)

The following Technical Bulletin will explain the changes to using the rollers that Ricoh has made (either roller will work).

That's interesting. I'll look on the next 2800 I go to and check the tyres fitted. I'm sure the 90's work.
