SC 382 is the drum potential sensor not the developer sensor. Replacement is covered in the service manual. Potential sensor.

Hi everyone. I'm having the same problem with a pro 8120S. SC382 occurs. I have replaced drum potential sensor, drum, PCDU, IOB and still nothing. I will try to replace harness, it is the only thing left. Did anyone solved this? Thanks

            Hi guys.
Problem solved with development unit replacement: the lower develpment roller was dirty due to a strong old developer "film" that drain overcurrent to potential sensor.
You also could clean it with sand paper but it is recommended to replace.
            Bye.

              Hey guys..
I keep getting an SC382 error code on one of our Pro 8100s machines.

              I've tried replacing:
              -potential sensor
              -drum
              -drum cleaning unit
              -developer
              -development unit
              -charge corona unit
              -IOB
              -laser
...among other unrelated parts, but still no luck in clearing the error.

All these parts seem to be good since I've tested them on another 8100 with no issues.
I'm not sure where else to go from this point. Any suggestions on what else I could try?

              Thanks in advance!

He already posted a new thread. That is why I didn't chastise him yesterday.
