I think what you are trying to get at is that the cleaning web unit no longer runs. Check all the mechanical parts and make sure nothing is bound up. If that looks good try replacing the motor. Part number is AX04 0147 from the US parts manual.

you can swap the charge cleaning motor in a pinch, just need to solder the wires from old"nonworking"motor as the wires are too short.
you can also take paint thinner on bad motor shaft and spin the shaft for a while with a portable drill and see if it "frees up".
i dont always have one with me and i have had RUNS of them going bad in multiple machines, sort of like the upper fuser drive gear..

The problem is before the fixing unit. I changed the unit with two other units, and the problem is the same.
There was a modification on the cleaning web ass'y for the mp4000 because of similar problems.
Perhaps it is the same in this model?
Perhaps you can remove the cleaning web ass'y, activate the sensor and then checked it out?
My gess is a drive problem to the web gear...
I have had this a couple of times on these devices
I/O board is shot
Follow the wiring diagram and work out which CN it is on the I/O board
Re seat the plug first, if not replace the I/O board
it would be odd on two machines at the same time, can happen.
my concern is either he has limited english skills or he doesnt sound like a tech,
he doesnt even offer initail things i ve done so far..cked the motor, cked the drive gears, ran service similation mode and cked etc etc
its like asking for help for bad CQ and not even providing
what i have done so far...

True first everybody need the error code to tell something about, next some better english description of the problem if no error code exist.
I have one mp 9002 with 2,332,301 copies and i never replaced fuser (... fixing unit is a canon tech language :-) )
And ...if both fusing unit reach the end of the web unit, the motor can't rotate more you must put a new web
Ps. It is not enough to change the unit you must activate also in the services menu again the web unit
After replacing the web with a new one, you must execute SP1902-001 (Fusing Web Used Area
Display/Setting) to reset the web consumption count to zero. This SP code must be executed to release SC550.
(must delete the value from the sp1902-001)
Ps2. if you move one used fuser to other machine you must copy the sp1902-001 value to the next machine to not damage the fuser when the web reach the end......

Colleagues problem is solved. The firm wire was upgraded to 6:05. With this version you need to replace the BCU board. You need BCU from the PRO 906 EX. D101 5220 - PCB: BCU: ass'y (Model C3.5) and the web turns.

My English is not so good. Sorry about that. I can if you want to reply in French and Spanish. Maybe you can give me answers in Dutch; French ore Spanish? The reset of the cleaning belt you do not need me to explain. I teach here in Belgium on the machines. If I report a problem; then it really is a PROBLEM !!
