Re: Auto Email Notification in a MPc2003 when no paper
Done! Got it.
I went to the device system log and saw errors with the IP address and subnet mask... maybe my DHCP was down... I dont know for sure...
What do know is that I reboot my MFP and bingo! Started to receve in the email the notifications.
So, Thanks to everyone who spent a bit of your time to help me.

Re: Auto Email Notification in a MPc2003 when no paper
Is the email server internal to a domain, or has outside internet access?
An internal email server may not allow access to the outside internet and therefore you will not receive email back to your workshop.
I'm not sure about the <brackets> as I have never used them in a copier email field.
Try removing the angle <brackets> from <user1>user1@?????.com user name field and try again with just user1@??????.com.
As slim said, check that the administrator is set up correctly in the MFD.
I am performing this in laboratory and I am configuring it with my internal email server. Also I put an existing user in the adress book and the administrator is set up correctly in the MFD.
The first thing that I made was a scan-to-mail with success.
I did not put the <...>. it automatically came after filling in the required fields of the edit button.
I am struggling with this issue, mostly because I have this working in the same custumer in the smaller Ricoh Printers...Leave a comment:

Check that the 'Administrator Email Address' is entered and is a valid email address. Then make sure that "Auto Specify Default Sender" is set.Leave a comment:

Auto Email Notification in a MPc2003 when no paper
Hello.
This is something that I did in a smaller Ricoh printer with success
Is it possible to enable this function in this model?
I have a custumer that asked me to set it up. But it does not sent anything.
