I know this code has something to do with the finisher, but if I don't want the finisher on, do I have to remove the bridge unit? Is there a way to clear this code out without removing the bridge?

SC792 means the machine sees the bridge unit installed but no finisher.
The only way to clear this message is to install the finisher or remove the finisher and the bridge unit.

Just was I was going to day

Because the Bridge unit transports the paper directly to the finisher, if the finisher isn't plugged in the machine would send copies through the Bridge unit and... well they'd end up on the floor. The Bridge unit is real easy to remove too, shouldn't have much if a problem.
