    Need Power Cable for Ricoh c820dn Hard Disk Drive (HDD)

    Hello All! First time posting!

    I have a Ricoh SP c820dn that I want to install a hard drive in. I understand that the hard drive is a regular SATA hard disk and so is the data cable.

    However, I have been unable to find the correct power cable which is a SATA power to 4-pin header. The plug for the 4-pin is very odd and I haven't been
    able to find anything quite like it since PC usually use a Molex connector.

    I did call Ricoh and the tech spent quite some time trying to find a part for me, but the closest he got was a part for the MP4000 "d3625131".

    What is odd, is that I've found pictures of different power cables with some using 4 wire leads to 4 pins, and others with 3 leads into a 4-pin header.
    My assumption is that the 3-1/2" drives need the 4 power leads and the 2-1/2" drive only need the 3 wires. Either way, I have a 4-pin socket on the main board.

    I don't want to try and make something and wire it wrong and blow my main board, so....

    Hoping for some help in making or even to purchase the correct part if anyone knows where I can find one. Google has been no help.

      It's D029 5370. The modification bulletins list the description as:

      D0295370 CABLE:HDD:SATA:POWER:140

      If the bracket is also missing, you'll need D029 5882, 4 x AA16 1167, 4 x AA14 3548 and a bag of 0451 3006n.

      I think you'd be best contacting your local Ricoh direct or dealer channel branch and asking them to order them for you.

              For future reference, part numbers for cables are usually found on the Point-to-point diagram.
