    [Jamming] Ricoh SP5100

I need a new fuser unit for a Rocoh SP5100. I seen in an earlier post that the SP5100 would take a Samsung JB96-03957B fuser. I cannot find that part number but found a fuser on line that looked the same with a number JC96-03957A. I can buy it from one of my vendors for $149 but they cannot confirm it is the same as the SP5100 Ricoh. Does anyone know if it will fit, if not, where would my best buy for that fuser be. Please repley to will@firststoprealtyllc.com
    Thanks, Will

    Ricoh G186-1217 (G1861217) Fuser Unit - 120 Volt, Genuine (A9538)

Needs a tech to fit it.

    The Samsung one:

    Samsung JC96-03957A Fuser Unit - 110 / 120 Volt, Genuine (B2136)

Is cheaper but looks slightly different. No idea if they are interchangeable.
It's 106 miles to Chicago. We've got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

    Hit it.

I am a tech and have the old fuser out. I am just not real familiar with Ricoh or best place to get the proper fuser unit. The genuine fusers I found on line are very expensive and seeing that ealier posting about the samsung juser peaked my interest. Any help would be appreciated. Will

Regardless of the price it looks like the only way to go is to fit the correct fuser. I wouldn't want to risk fitting the Samsung one in case it damages a board in the machine.
