Hi i newbie here, want to ask i got some mp c3300 facing same problem when i print double side in colour, leading side and trailing edge will dirty.
Anyone know what the problem and need how to do?

Looks like toner build up somewhere the edge of the paper scrapes against. Check the bottom of the fusing and the stripper plate on the fusing unit. The bottom plate can usually be cleaned. The stripper plate should be replaced. It has a thin Teflon coating that if damaged by cleaning will cause jamming and damage to the fusing belt. Also check the PTR unit. If t he ITB cleaning is past PM count, replace it.

You may have a broken guide where the duplexer door finds its home position.


Generally :
Excessive paper curl on the second side of the copy.
Your page is curling up and picking up excess toner pass the ITB or fuser plate.
I'm betting you may be getting more paper jambs with solid cover print jobs as well.
Try opening a clean fresh ream of paper or try another brand of copier paper.
Try leaving the solid dark coloured cover page of the documents as the last page of the print job.

How long since the machine has had a good maintenance service done ?

may need a different type of transfer roller guide, there was a tech bul for this, good luck.

The same problem exists in the mp c3500. did you find a solution?

2) thread has been dead for three years

Changing the developer should get rid of the that. Be sure and run run SP 2801 afterward.
